Orca Post · LinkedIn · Mac and Windows
The LinkedIn comments you'd have written. Without the hour of scrolling.
You save a few LinkedIn searches on the subjects you actually care about. Each morning Orca runs them in your own browser, picks the posts worth a reply, and drafts a comment in your voice. You read it, you approve it, it goes out as you. Nothing posts on its own, and it never likes anything.
Orca Post is a tab inside Orca, included in the licence. It stays off until you connect LinkedIn and save your searches. The harvest runs through the Orca browser extension in your own Chrome session, so Orca never sees your password.
Save the searches once. Approve the comments daily.
The scrolling is the bit that eats the morning. Orca does that part and hands you the ten minutes that matter.
Save your searches
Search a phrase on LinkedIn, click Posts, pick "Past 24 hours" if you like, and paste the URL into Orca. Three to nine searches works well. You can also say where authors should be based and who to never draft for.
It harvests in your browser
The daily run uses the Orca extension in your own Chrome session. It skips what it has seen, drops the spam and the wrong languages, asks the model which posts deserve a reply, then writes a draft for each one.
You approve, it posts
Each draft gets Edit, Dismiss or Approve. Approve posts the comment from your profile. Dismiss bins it. Nothing is written as "approved" by anything other than your click.
Drafted in your voice
It writes the way you told it you write.
The voice comes from what you set up: your name, role, business, tone, the phrases you never use, plus two guidance boxes, one for posts and comments, one for comments only. Underneath that sit rules you cannot switch off: UK English, under 130 words, no emojis, no hashtags, no em dashes, no exclamation marks.
- A daily target, not a flood. Ten drafts a day is the default and a decent start. Set it anywhere from one to two hundred and the run stops when it gets there.
- Paced like a person. Sixty to a hundred and fifty seconds between searches, a pause for each page to settle, and a cap on page loads per run. If LinkedIn shows a checkpoint or a rate limit, the run stops and tries again tomorrow.
- Nothing hidden. Posts the gate rejected sit under "Rejected today" with a "Draft anyway" button. Posts the run never got to are listed under "Not reached".
Posts, the scout and the inbox
Comments are the daily habit. The rest is there when you want it.
Posts go out from your profile, or from a Company Page where that is set up, with a schedule box if now is the wrong time. Name a company you work with in a comment and Orca can turn it into a link to their Page.
The content scout reads the news searches you list, the data releases on their release day and anything the PR listener picked up, scores each one against your thesis, and keeps the angles that score four or more. Keep one and it drafts a post into the queue. The scout never publishes.
Inbox triage watches a LinkedIn messaging tab every ten minutes, sorts each reply by tier, and drafts a response for you to approve and send. It ships off and in shadow mode, which means it logs what it would have done and touches nothing until you decide otherwise.
Your profile, your reputation. Orca behaves like it.
LinkedIn is your name on the line, so the rules are built in rather than promised.
Off until you set it up
The tab shows a single "Connect LinkedIn" button until you sign in. The harvest switch stays disabled until the extension is connected and at least three searches are saved. The scout, the inbox triage and the PR listener all ship off too.
It never likes a post
There is no like button in Orca Post, and no code behind one. A like is a cheap signal that says a robot was here. A comment you approved says you were.
Never sends without a yes
Comments post when you click Approve. Posts go when you click Post. Inbox replies wait for "Approve and send". The one exception is deliberate: the triage panel has an auto-send switch per tier that you would have to turn on yourself, and the highest tier is always gated.

Questions: chris@simmance.ai.
The questions people ask first.
Does it like posts?
No. Not as a setting, not as a feature. Orca Post comments, with your approval, or it does nothing.
Does Orca need my LinkedIn password?
No. The harvest runs through the Orca browser extension in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in. Posting a comment you approved goes through LinkedIn's own sign-in flow, which you complete once in Orca.
Will LinkedIn think I am a bot?
The run is paced to look like a person reading: long gaps between searches, a pause for each page, a ceiling on page loads, and it stops the moment LinkedIn shows a checkpoint or a rate limit. That is as honest as anyone can be about it. Orca does not burst searches from your session, and the daily target keeps the volume sensible.
Can it post to a Company Page?
Posts can go to a Company Page where the company app is set up for your install. Comments always go out as you, from your personal profile.
What if I never want this running?
Then it never runs. Orca Post is off until you connect LinkedIn, save searches and switch the harvest on. Leave the tab alone and the rest of Orca carries on as normal.
Be in the conversation. Skip the scroll.
